QUEBEC MOSQUE SHOOTING
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and families of the Quebec Mosque shooting. May Allah keep us all safe, calm and steadfast during these challenging times. Thank you so much to all our dear fellow Canadian brothers and sisters for sending messages of support and fellowship. Here are some:
"As a Canadian and a Veteran my heart goes out to your community over the shooting in Quebec. If you need someone to protect your members it would be an honour to do so. My oath was to defend Canadians, this oath has no expiration date."
“Feeling great grief about last night's murder of Muslims at prayer in Quebec City. As a Jew I am in solidarity with Muslims in the face of such hatred.”
J. J. Lewis
“How can I show you how saddened and in sheer shock that our fellow Canadians were murdered in their place of Worship. I will pray in my own way that this must stop and never happen again. I also wish to help if there is a fund set up to be sent to the families who have lost and are sitting beside love ones.”
K. H. Jollimore
“Please share my dismay, anger, horror and pain at what happened to the community. I wish to state that, as a Christian, a former member of the Armed Forces and a former Québecois, I proudly stand with my fellow Canadian Muslim brethren. Please transmit, if you can, my condolences and support to the Quebec City community. Peace be with you.”
“No need for reply but just wanted to send a message of sincere apology for the violence experienced in Quebec and the hatred in America. In these dark days it is easy to lose sight of the movement towards peace and freedom.
I stand with all my Muslim neighbours. If the community needs anything please put a call out and we will respond."
